Hello All:

Not much to report for this week that is directly related to the course. Right now I am trying to get all paper work completed so that I can enroll in Summer's 699 course. If so, this will be the easiest Summer I've had in four years; I am not teaching Summer school, and I am not caarying a full load of units.

I wish you all well and hope to see you this Summer or Fall.

Hello:

Our final week of the quarter has finally arrived! This past week was spent trying to gather all of my information for my job and continuing work on the thesis (seems this will never be completed). I have managed to catch up on my Blogging posts, however. Many of you have posted feelings of treading water, stuck in quick sand and other helpful and inspiring analogies. I feel that Dr. Newberry's requirement to post Blogs was indeed helpful, as I could see the struggles which most of us endured.

I hope to see all of you this summer or fall.

Robert

Greetings:

This past week has been almost a complete wash for my classes. I flaked off on my blogging and did not work on my chapters at all. Instead, I studied for the CSET single subject math test on May 20 ( Whew!!). I took two subsets : algebra and geometry. Going in I felt somewhat confident of my knowledge of the subject matter. Thankfully, I received information from the high school math teacher that linear algebra was on the test. For those wishing to take the test, be prepared, the tests are at college level(not the middle school level where you teach). The only study guide I found was from a Site called XAM.

Also, I have been preparing myself for the interview on Tuesday. I am interviewing for a middle school math/science position.

I hope all that are planning on taking the ETEC 699 course this summer enroll soon.

Hello,

This past week has been spent with writing the Literature Review, of course. Also, I worked on the development chapter.

Today I finally made it to the library to research Master's Thesis in Web or Web design. I found 32 related thesis that closely matched what I am doing. After looking through two of the thesis, I realized that I should have done this in the beginning of the project. One gave many directions toward the literature review that I had not yet discovered.

For those that have not taken the time to research a Thesis, please do, it has help narrow some of my searches and help me refocus.

Take care,
Robert L.

Hello All:
This week has been spent working on my Literature Review and working on other areas of my thesis. After getting out of the writing slump, I have become more productive. Whether I can enroll in this Summer's ETEC 699 course is up to student enrollment. So anyone interested in taking the course this Summer, please enroll.
